BO11OCKS Final poster & magazine
Down below is our film poster of our fictional film 'Bo11ocks'. As you can see in the poster we have included a back-shot of the film's antagonist Desmond. You can see also that he is holding a knife and that most of his features have been concealed, however we have decided to reveal some lighting detail on the antagonist (i.e. his ears and hands) to make him stand out from the dark background of the poster, and also to show that the light coming from the television is shinning on him. We also followed the conventions of an ordinary film poster such as; the tagline "This Isn't Funny Anymore!", which helps draw the interest of the audience, though not all film posters include a tagline, but some do. Other conventions are the title, like the film's name which deliberately stands out from all the font included in the poster so the audience can easily identify the name of the film. The credits, which are normally placed around the bottom of film posters, and are normally written in 'Steel Tongs', which is what we used for the font of the credits of our film poster, though other film posters might use fonts similar to 'Steel Tongs'. We also put in a 'coming soon' in our film poster, which some existing film posters have, to let the audience know that the film is coming soon. We also included a website of our production company, which most film posters tend to do in order to promote the production company of the film.
